Who are we?

         Essential Oil Lovers is a sales company that introduces a wider audience to doTERRA essential oils through our Wellness Advocate incentive program (If you decide to work with us, that'd be you!) We help our representatives build a strong business and a reliable income stream by rewarding them for introducing essential oils to potential customers and teaching them how to share the oils. All you need is a great personality, contagious excitement, and a love for sharing about natural health!

What's the job?

​          Representatives that work with our team share in the way that is most effective and comfortable for them. They can meet one-on-one with a friend, have a big party to teach about the oils, or hold Facebook Live classes. The Wellness Advocate's role is to share about doTERRA essential oils and to help educate these customers about the premium quality and potency which set doTERRA products apart. They then help those customers find the perfect kit or oils that fit their needs and help guide them through the buying process.

You get to make your own schedule.

          Independent contractors are a lot different than employees. For one, you'll be your own boss in charge of your own schedule and way of doing things. We give many optional trainings and tips which are super helpful for anyone just getting started, but you get to decide the who, what, where, when, and how of your business. Whether you want to schedule five appointments in one day or just a couple in one week – it’s your choice. You can meet up and share around your class schedule or any other work schedule and never have to worry about getting time off. Keep it simple or go full time. It's all up to you!​

OK, So how do I get paid?

          When you first start you'll be given a doTERRA wholesale account. Then you'll be given a $100 kit of the most popular oils in order to start sharing about essential oils as soon as you can. We also have tons of great training resources for you and we'll be glad to answer any questions you have about how to share the benefits of essential oils effectively.
          Every month when you enroll at least two new members with a kit you will receive a $100 towards a Loyalty Rewards Order. This will allow you to earn a 20% sales commission from every enrollment and initial product sale made each month. Usually, anyone who shares doTERRA gets paid for any sales they make for the month only after placing a personal Loyalty Rewards Order. This can make it financially difficult for some people to get started doing something they would otherwise love. 

​          Now here's why this is a great opportunity. We want you to know that you are going to be rewarded for doing your job, which is to share essential oils and natural health with people, without the commitment to purchase your own oils. So when you work with us, we place the Loyalty Rewards Order ($100)  for you, every month that you enroll at least two people with a kit. You keep the oils to continue sharing, and you get your commission. This keeps cash in your pocket and allows you to do what you love!

Are there start-up costs?

          Yes. To start you on your journey with us, we give you a $100 selection of the most popular oils for you to sample out and to allow potential customers to experience how great doTERRA essential oils are! If you wish, you can purchase any additional oils you think may benefit you or your sales process, but that is entirely up to you.

Where do I get my appointments?

          The easiest way to get started is by sharing doTERRA with people you know and with whom you already have a relationship with. This allows you to become comfortable with the process, make mistakes, and get better at your presentation. We have many training resources which are available to you at any time, and we'll personally answer any questions you may have and give you guidance. As it gets easier, one of the key ways you'll get more appointments is asking theses customers if they know anyone who'd be interested in taking a look at doTERRA and be willing to refer you to them. By being a friend-of-a-friend you'll already have an established connection and feel much more comfortable. Plus the more people know what your job is the more they'll think of you when someone wants to learn more about essential oils!
          Our reps are also encouraged to network and make local connections with health and wellnes oriented businesses (such as chiropractors) or wellness professionals (such yoga teachers or personal trainers). A rep definitely needs to constantly be looking for ways to build relationships and make new connections in order to be successful.
